Continuing Education Units

IFT provides three types of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for the Annual Meeting Scientific Program.

CPE

Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

IFT is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) accredited provider (IN141) with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetic's Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), and provides a special certificate to Registered Dieticians and Dietetic Technicians seeking CPE units for participation in the IFT Annual Meeting. CPE units will be awarded as follows:

  • 14 Continuing Professional Education Units (CPEU) for the Scientific Program
  • 9 CPEUs for the Food Expo®
  • 14 CPEUs for Poster Sessions
  • Research Chefs AssociationCPEU Level: 2

Research Chefs Association

The IFT Annual Meeting Scientific Program meets the requirements for continuing education units for Certified Research Chefs (CRC) and Certified Culinary Scientists (CCS).

Product Development and Management Association

Members of the Product Development and Management Association may receive Professional Development Hours (PDH) toward their recertification as New Product Development Professionals. Only sessions with a specific product development focus qualify for credit. Stay tuned for a list of qualified courses.
