Press List for Exhibitors
As a part of our efforts to help you promote your organization’s presence at the IFT Annual Meeting & Food Expo, we offer access to a partial list of media that attend the conference. This list includes journalists who have expressed interest in being contacted by companies exhibiting at the Food Expo. Exhibitors may log in to view the 2013 Media List once it is posted. Should you be working with a public relations firm, please note that you must provide your login and password for representatives to access this media list.

News Releases and Media Kits
Exhibitors are welcome to display news releases and press kits in the IFT Press Room, which is reserved for the media covering the IFT Annual Meeting & Food Expo. Product samples are not allowed in the onsite Press Room and will not be accepted as part of a media kit.
- Exhibitors that do not want media to videotape their booth should inform the Press Room staff onsite
- Exhibitors and their private consultants are permitted to photograph and videotape their own booth only
- Exhibitors and their private consultants may film, photograph, and/or videotape their own exhibitor-presented seminar(s) only
No other photography or videography is permitted. IFT reserves the right to refuse entrance to any member of the media with a camera or video recording device that has not informed the Press Room of their intent.
Exhibitors may conduct press conferences in the Press Conference Room. Press conferences conducted in the IFT Press Conference Room are open to all registered news media.
Reservations for this room must be made in advance of this meeting in writing through IFT’s Media Relations department. Press conference time slots will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Press Conferences begin at the top-of-the-hour and may last up to 45 minutes. To accommodate the large number of exhibitors at the meeting, there is a limit of one press conference per exhibitor.
To reserve the Press Conference Room, send the following information to IFT Media Relations at: email@example.com and include the following information:
- The desired date and time of your press conference
- The purpose of the conference (e.g. the product being announced)
- The name, address, phone, fax, and e-mail of a contact person
Exhibitors are responsible for creating their own media lists and informing the news media of their conferences. In addition, exhibitors are responsible for their own A/V arrangements. A/V needs must be made the exhibitor through the convention center.
Exhibitors will receive confirmation of their press conference room reservation. IFT posts a schedule of all press conferences outside the Press Conference Room throughout the course of the meeting.
